Liv is a food scanner that shows how each meal impacts your lifespan in minutes. You scan food with your camera or a barcode, and we show you the result.
The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:
We do not have accounts or user authentication. There is no way for us to identify you personally.
When you scan food, two things are sent to our server:
When you scan a barcode, the barcode number is sent directly from your device to the Open Food Facts public API to retrieve nutrition data. We do not proxy or store this request.
Liv offers optional subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Apple handles all billing. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Liv is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
